Why Join Grid.org?
Grid.org's vision is to bring together, into a single web location, a variety of information related to all the software elements needed to run a cluster. Many related communities exist for each individual cluster stack component -- at Grid.org, we aggregate this information into a location where community members can learn from users of other types of software in the stack.
For example, a cluster user familiar with Grid Engine may be interested in connecting with another user who is familiar with Ganglia. Or a cluster developer may be in search of information about a particular end user application. At Grid.org, it's our vision to make that kind of connection possible, so that all professionals who work with clusters can benefit from each other's experience.
