Expectations of Community

Grid.org is your community -- and it's up to you to make it a great one!  Below are our guidelines about how we feel Grid.org members should interact within the community (what to do and what not to do), as well as some expectations for our sponsors.

Please feel free to submit your own suggestions for Community Expectations!

What to do

  • Be polite and respectful in your interactions with other members
  • Upload content you have created
  • Contribute to discussions
  • Post bugs
  • Suggest topics for projects
  • Suggest ideas to make Grid.org a better community and/or www.grid.org a better site

What not to do

Please do not contribute content that is:

  • Violent, racially intolerant, or targeted advocacy against any individual, group, or organization
  • Copyrighted material you do not own
  • Pornography
  • Unsolicited sales or promotion of products or services (spam)
  • Illegal, promotes illegal activity, or infringes on the legal rights of others
  • An irrelevant gripe, screed, rant or tirade

In most circumstances, we will send you a warning if we feel that you have violated any of these agreements. Subsequent violations can result in account termination without warning. In all cases we will provide an explanation for the ban.

Expectations of sponsors

In an effort to maintain transparency, we insist that Corporate Sponsors:

  • Not create personal accounts that are not tagged with their corporate identity
  • In no way attempt to circumvent the system in place to clearly label Corporate Sponsors
  • Abide by all of the Expectations of Users as listed above.

Violations can result in account termination without warning!

Thanks for being here, and please enjoy your Grid.org experience.
